Nursery : Bright Horizons Milton Road Day Nursery and Preschool

Location : Cambridge

Salary : From £27,232 per annum FTE

Hours : Monday to Friday | 11- 3 | 20 Hours

We are looking for part time, Level 2+ qualified Early Years Practitioners to join our new Bright Horizons Milton Road Nursery..

Bright Horizons Cambridge Milton Road is a newly refurbished nursery and forest school that opened its doors in early 2025. With a capacity for 48 children, our setting boasts five spacious rooms and beautifully lit gardens, accessible day and night, ensuring endless exploration and fun.

Our nursery isn't just a place for children; it's a haven for our dedicated staff too. Enjoy a serene staff room perfect for unwinding during breaks, indulge in a delicious breakfast provided daily, and refresh with our thoughtfully stocked care baskets in the bathrooms. What you’ll be doing

Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones.

Develop and maintain strong parent / carer partnerships

Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding

Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment

What we’re looking for

Full and Relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification (essential)

Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or similar)

Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child

Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents

Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults

Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
