CNC Miller Programmer

Overview

CNC Miller Set / Op / Pro — Willenhall. Hours : 7 : 30am - 4 : 30pm Monday to Thursday, 7 : 30am - 12 : 30pm Friday. Salary : ?36,000 to ?40,000 - negotiable dependent upon experience. Overtime available @ time and a third.

The client is a family run CAD / CAM tooling solutions company with a heritage spanning nearly 100 years. The candidate will join a long-serving team dedicated to providing a first-class service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and machine a wide variety of tooling in materials such as tooling boards, Spider-Man head models, aluminium moulds and tools, cast-iron patterns and coreboxes.
• Be responsible for own Autodesk Powermill workstation.
• Operate Vericut software to verify toolpaths prior to running.
• Conduct quality assurance and safety checks on all tooling.
• Develop CNC programs for machining parts based on engineering drawings and specifications.
• Interpret project blueprints.
