gap construction are delighted to be supporting a well-established, family-owned builder with almost a century of proud history, in their search for a skilled Bench Joiner to join their exceptional in-house team. The successful candidate will become part of a friendly, close-knit team based in the heart of Hertfordshire.

Performance Objectives

CAD Interpretation : Confidently read and understand 2D and 3D CAD drawings to interpret specifications and client requirements.

Document Comprehension : Read and follow manufacturing documents such as cutting lists and factory orders.

Assembly Communication : Receive clear assembly instructions from the Assembly Team Leader, including critical details and preferred manufacturing approaches.

Issue Reporting : Highlight and report any issues identified during the assembly process to the Team Leader.

Tool Usage : Operate hand tools such as trimmers and manual tools including chisels.

Material Knowledge : Work with a variety of materials including MFC, MFMDF, sprayed elements, veneered elements, and solid wood.

Quality Assurance : Ensure all work meets the company's high-quality standards.
