Architectural Technologist

Architectural Technologist required to join a well-established SME architectural practice based in Halifax, specialising in the residential sector. Our clients work spans large-scale developments for national PLC house builders through to bespoke, high-end individual homes. They pride themselves on technical excellence, design quality, and long-standing client relationships.

As part of their future growth strategy, they are now seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join their established and friendly team. This role has a clear long-term succession opportunity, with the potential to be part of a management buyout (MBO) for the right candidate.

The Architectural Technologist Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious technologist with circa 5 years' plus of professional experience to play a key role in delivering high-quality residential projects and shaping the future of the practice.

Key responsibilities include :

Leading the technical design and delivery of residential schemes from concept to completion.

Producing and coordinating detailed technical drawings and Revit models.

Preparing and submitting planning and building regulation applications.

Managing client, consultant, and contractor relationships with professionalism and clarity.

Providing mentorship to junior members of the team.
