Senior Hardware Design Engineer

Role : Senior Hardware Design Engineer

Salary : £50,000 - £60,000

Location : Near Colchester

Main skills we are looking for :

Advanced hardware design expertise : digital, analogue, and RF hardware design (including high-speed signal design, RF, power management, and EMI / EMC considerations).

Strong debugging and testing skills :  hands-on use of oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and spectrum analysers to validate and troubleshoot hardware.

Proficiency with Altium Designer : schematic capture and PCB layout creation.

Project leadership and cross-functional collaboration : managing complex product development from concept to production while working with software, mechanical, test, and manufacturing teams.

Mentorship and technical guidance : providing support and knowledge transfer to junior engineers.
