Overview

Facilities Operative (cleaning) at Deal Hospital, Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust. The closing date is 26 September 2025.

In this role, the hourly rate is £12.51. Weekend, Bank Holiday and unsociable hours (8pm - 6am) attract enhanced pay. Benefits include 27 days of annual leave plus bank holidays (entitlement increases with length of service), automatic enrolment into the NHS Pension scheme (opt out available), and access to NHS and Blue Light discounts.

We are recruiting for a Facilities Operative (cleaning) at Deal Hospital with a working pattern of 5pm to 9pm, Monday to Friday. Experience in a commercial cleaning environment is welcome but not essential. A full induction and training programme will be provided at the start. Main duties of the job

This is primarily a hands-on cleaning position where you will learn all the background skills and knowledge to enable you to complete the role, including enhanced and periodic clean training, National Cleaning standards, completion of paperwork, equipment training and waste management.
