Nursery Practitioner

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join an excellent nursery based in Winchmore Hill. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education with either a level 2 or 3 qualification or equivalent and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children in the nursery setting. As an Nursery Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of our youngest learners.

YOU MUST HOLD A LEVEL 2 OR 3 QUALIFICATION IN CHILDCARE / EARLY YEARS OR EQUIVILANT FOR THIS ROLE.

Salary : £26,000 - £30,300 per annum

Hours : 40 hours over either 4 or 5 days Monday to Friday

Location : Winchmore Hill

Duties

• Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
• Build a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children.
• Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
• Manage daily routines and ensure the smooth operation of the nursery.
• Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in early years education.
• Follow the EYFS practice
• Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive approach to child development.
• Drive initiatives that enhance the learning experience and overall nursery environment.
