Overview

Equifind have partnered with a global wealth management group to recruit a Financial Reporting Manager for their London operation.

This newly created role is ideal for someone eager to make a tangible impact by driving change, implementing new processes, and improving existing policies within an international finance team. You’ll also take on responsibility for managing a qualified accountant, offering the opportunity to develop and sharpen leadership skills.

This is a fiercely ambitious, high-growth company, expanding globally through diversification, organic growth, and acquisitions. With revenues in the billions and 20% YOY growth, they are one of the market’s real success stories.

Key duties

Training and development of a Financial Accountant
Oversight of monthly financial close, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
Prepare monthly management accounts and statutory year-end reporting
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across key business units
Partner with non-finance stakeholders, providing insight and challenge
Drive process improvements and strengthen reporting controls
Contribute to ad-hoc projects including systems upgrades, M&A, and integration work
Present financial information in a clear, concise way to senior leadership

Experience & Qualifications

Qualified accountant (preferably ACA / CA)

A minimum of 5 years post-qualified experience, within a financial reporting or controls-focused role

Solid understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP reporting standards

Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate finance for non-finance stakeholders

Advanced Excel and modelling skills

Commercially astute, with proven business awareness
