About the Position :
We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team at a busy site, where you will play a key role in maintaining and optimising a fleet of heavy goods vehicles. This role offers the chance to work on a wide range of vehicle maintenance and diagnostics tasks, ensuring maximum uptime and safety while developing your skills in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities :
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks, inspections, and repairs on heavy goods vehicles.
- Diagnose, identify, and troubleshoot mechanical issues on vehicle and body systems.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and parts used.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support apprentices and colleagues by providing training, advice, and guidance.
Requirements :
Qualified Heavy Goods Vehicle Mechanic (HGV Mechanic) with a minimum of 3 years’ post-apprenticeship experience in HGV maintenance and repair.Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with good computer literacy.Well-organised, self-motivated, and an effective communicator.Ability to follow instructions in written, verbal, or diagram form.Desirable Skills :
