Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum, inspiring pupils to reach their full potential and preparing them for the transition to secondary education. Beginning ASAP.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 national curriculum.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND or EAL.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and setting clear targets for improvement.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support pupil achievement and wellbeing.
- Contribute to extra-curricular activities, trips, and whole-school initiatives.
Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS) or recognised equivalent.Experience teaching KS2 is desirable; motivated ECTs are welcome to apply.Strong classroom management and organisational skills as KS2 Teacher.Ability to inspire, challenge and engage learners across Years 3–6.Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.Step Teachers is an education recruitment agency.
