Our customer is a multinational engineering company that specializes in automation and technology solutions across industries such as food, beverage, warehousing, and parcel / post. With expertise in logistics, production, and robotic automation, they provide advanced software to optimize material handling and sorting. Their focus is on enhancing efficiency and productivity through structured, cost-effective engineering while embracing innovation and modern methodologies. And they are looking for a Software Engineer to join their new project!

The Role :

  • This role would suit a driven and motivated Software Engineer. Day to day you will :
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code based on specifications and requirements.
  • Participate in defining the architecture and structure of software applications and systems.
  • Design algorithms and data structures to efficiently solve problems and meet performance requirements.
  • Perform Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and Bug Fixing.
  • Work closely with other developers, architects, business analysts, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure that the software meets business needs and deadlines.
  • Participate in peer code reviews, providing constructive feedback and maintaining code quality.
  • Write technical documentation for code, systems, and processes to ensure that others can understand and maintain the software.
  • Monitor and maintain existing software, fixing bugs, and making updates or enhancements as necessary.
  • Implement software updates and patches to keep systems secure and up-to-date with the latest technologies.
  • Work with DevOps teams to deploy software to production environments.
  • Automate testing, building, and deployment processes to ensure rapid and reliable software delivery.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving customer issues or technical support requests related to software.

Your Skills :

  • Proficiency in languages and frameworks, i.e., .NET Core, C#, Entity Framework, MassTransit, Rabbit MQ.
  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming, SDLC, REST API, and Event Driven Architecture.
  • Software Development Tools : IDEs (e.g., Visual Studio, Visual Code), build tools (Azure Pipeline), version control (e.g., Git).
  • Database Management : Knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, Graph QL), and data manipulation.
  • Cloud Computing : Experience with cloud platforms (Azure).
  • DevOps : Familiarity with automation tools like Docker, Kubernetes for deployment, and Azure Pipeline for CI / CD.
  • Good verbal and written English.
  • Qualifications and Experience Levels :

  • Relevant Computer / Software / Information Technology degree is preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in a similar industry with around 5 years of experience.
  • Practical experience is required and able to demonstrate from Past Projects.
