Learning Support Assistant

Horizon Teachers are working with a Primary school based in Croydon, assisting in their search for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis from October 2025. You will join an experienced and supportive team, working with pupils on a 1 : 1 basis as well as supporting small groups.

The school is within walking distance to a train station and has parking options.

What do the school require from you?

Experience working with children with SEND / Additional needs within a Primary or Secondary school setting.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Confidence and ability to use your initiative.

Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.

Knowledge of relevant safeguarding policies and procedures.
