Principal Engineer

Principal Engineer Python / Data Systems Salary : £80k-£100k Permax Recruitment is working in partnership with a London based firm who are on the lookout for a Principal Engineer in London to become an integral part of the team. Working within the Digital Assets industry for a finance firm who specialise in Crypto, Blockchain and Web3.

Requirements

3+ years of professional experience

Back-end experience. Desirable in data processing for large datasets, and front-end

DevOps experience, being familiar with processes and implementation

Knowledge of 2+ modern languages (example : Python, Typescript, Node.JS, Go) and bash.

Experience in SQL, improving queries performance, and managing databases

Expertise in CI / CD, unit testing, and software development industry standards

AWS experience in production environments

Linux experience

Knowledge of security best practices

Agile

Problem solver

Highly collaborative individual

Proficient in time and resource management

Experience in financial data, fintech, crypto ecosystem is desirable
