Overview

Our client, a leading European financial institution with a strong London presence, is seeking an Acquisition Finance Associate Director to join their growing team. This is a chance to take ownership of complex, high-profile transactions while helping to shape strategy within a dynamic portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the evaluation and structuring of acquisition finance transactions
  • Undertake detailed financial modelling, credit analysis, and cashflow sensitivity testing
  • Review loan documentation and support syndication / secondary trading strategies
  • Monitor portfolio performance, risks, and market trends
  • Contribute to strategy, reporting, and senior management reviews

Qualifications

  • Solid background in Corporate or Structured Finance lending, ideally within a bank or similar institution
  • Proven expertise in leveraged loan analysis, financial modelling, and acquisition finance evaluation
  • Strong understanding of credit risk and compliance frameworks
  • Experience preparing and presenting credit papers at senior level
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
