Overview

Head of Product (UK) at Parcelhero. ParcelHero is a leading UK parcel delivery price comparison site with over 5 million visitors per year and 100+ remote employees. We are a technology-driven company that offers career growth opportunities. In 2025, Parcelhero Pro will roll out worldwide, a new Transport Management Solution (TMS) enabling retailers to centralise orders and ship on their own carrier accounts via our cutting-edge shipping platform. ParcelHero fosters a collaborative, innovative, remote-first culture that values initiative, adaptability, and ownership. The role combines strategic product leadership with hands-on execution, sitting at the intersection of commercial strategy and technical delivery.

About The Role : We are seeking a Head of Product to own the ParcelHero product suite, including our flagship price comparison service and the ParcelHero Pro platform. You will define the product vision, shape the roadmap, and represent product in engineering meetings to ensure alignment between business goals and technical delivery. The ideal candidate has a background in sales / marketing and a deep understanding of software development and engineering processes to collaborate effectively with tech teams.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision : Define and own the overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligned with company goals and market opportunities
Cross-functional Leadership : Bridge sales, marketing, engineering, and customer support to balance commercial and technical needs in product decisions
Engineering Collaboration : Represent product in engineering meetings; prioritise features, resolve trade-offs, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery
Market & Customer Insight : Conduct customer research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, shape features, and drive adoption
Go-to-Market Partnership : Collaborate with marketing and sales for successful product launches, positioning, and sales enablement
Data-Driven Decision Making : Define KPIs, analyse usage / adoption metrics, and optimise the product based on insights
Team Building : Build and lead a high-performing product team as the function scales

What We’re Looking For

Fluent English : You should be fluent in both written and spoken English

Experience : 5+ years in product management / ownership, ideally within SaaS, eCommerce, logistics, or marketplaces

Technical Fluency : Strong experience working with engineering teams; understanding of software architecture, APIs, and development workflows

Commercial Acumen : Background in sales / marketing with ability to align product strategy with revenue growth and customer needs

Leadership : Ability to influence, inspire, and build consensus across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Execution : Proven track record delivering complex digital products from concept to launch and growth

Analytical & Strategic : Data-driven mindset with ability to balance vision with detailed analysis

Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to represent product internally and externally

Agile & Discovery : Familiarity with agile development, product discovery, and roadmap prioritisation frameworks

Previous leadership of a product team in a scaling SaaS company
