Team Leader

We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our operations team based in Minworth on the PM shift. (3pm - 11pm)

In this role, you will support the day-to-day running of the operation by assisting the Supervisor and providing cover for the Shift Manager when required. You will play a key role in maintaining operational standards, supporting team performance, and ensuring a safe, high-quality working environment.

About the role

• Support the Supervisor with the daily coordination and smooth running of warehouse operations.
• Provide cover for the Shift Manager during periods of absence, ensuring continuity of leadership and decision-making.
• Ensure all operational tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with agreed procedures.
• Act as a key liaison point between departments to support effective communication and operational flow.
• Maintain high standards of quality across all operational activities.
• Promote, monitor, and enforce safe systems of work and standard operating procedures.
• Coach and support warehouse operatives on a daily basis to ensure understanding and adherence to processes and procedures.
• Monitor workloads, organise tasks, and support colleagues to ensure deadlines and service requirements are met.
• Support a positive, collaborative team environment that enables colleagues to perform at their best.
• Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times, demonstrating behaviours aligned to the company’s values, principles, and Code of Conduct.
• Carry out additional duties as required to support operational needs.
