FLT Reach and Counterbalance Driver

Overview

Gap Personnel who operate as an employment business are recruiting for 1 FLT driver Reach (D1 or D2) and Counterbalance (B2) to join our client in Winsford, CW7. The chosen candidate must hold a valid Accredited FLT reach (D1 or D2) AND counterbalance (B2) license with at least 6 MONTHS proven experience.

Role : FLT driver Reach (D1 or D2) and Counterbalance (B2) (EXTERNAL ONLY)

Pay : £14.00 per hour, rising to £14.50 after a successful 3-month probation period.

Working hours : Monday to Friday, 7.00am-17.00pm

Contract : Temp to Perm

Duties

This role is in a fast-paced environment where you will not spend all your time on the forklift. You will assist in various areas, including moving stock and labelling, so attention to detail is essential. Responsibilities include :

• Moving stock & materials around using the FLT, following safety rules and regulations
• Storing materials and products in the warehouse
• Update location records throughout the day. Manual and Excel sheets
• Unload and load delivery / collection vehicles
• Completing all related paperwork and pre-start FLT records
• Ensure warehouse is kept clean and tidy at all times
• Taking on any additional duties as needed to support the business
• Experience of SAP is an advantage
• Support the stock control team
• Prepare and mark-up container shipments

Candidate profile

Required Experience

The chosen candidate must hold a valid accredited FLT Reach (D1 or D2) Counterbalance (B2) accredited license, with previous experience in a warehouse environment.
