Sports Coach / PE Assistant

Leader Education is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Sports Coach / PE Assistant to join a SEND school in Ashington, Northumberland . This is a non-teaching role, ideal for someone passionate about sport, physical education, and helping children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) develop confidence, teamwork, and physical skills.

Working Hours : Monday–Friday : 8 : 30am – 3 : 30pm

The Role :

• Delivering engaging sports and PE sessions tailored to pupils with SEND
• Supporting children to develop physical skills, coordination, and teamwork
• Assisting in planning and organising PE and sports activities
• Supporting behaviour management and ensuring a safe, inclusive environment
• Encouraging pupils to achieve their personal best in all activities
