Quantity Surveyor

The Role

You'll be responsible for all commercial and contractual aspects of the project, from inception to completion. Your duties will include :

Cost Control & Management : Accurately forecasting, monitoring, and controlling project costs to ensure profitability.

Procurement : Sourcing and managing subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring best value and compliance.

Contract Administration : Handling all contractual matters, including claims, variations, and payments.

Risk & Value Management : Identifying potential commercial risks and opportunities, and implementing strategies to mitigate or capitalize on them.

Reporting : Preparing and presenting detailed financial reports to senior management and clients.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have :

A degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with significant exposure to highways or large-scale civil engineering projects.

A strong understanding of civil engineering contracts

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
