Accounts Assistant

A well-established and reputable business in Ampleforth is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly routines, preparing supporting information and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Post day-to-day financial entries and ensure ledgers are up to date.
• Carry out regular reconciliations across key accounts to maintain data integrity.
• Produce routine and ad-hoc financial reports to support team decision-making.
• Support finance administration, including VAT, audit preparation, and compliance tasks.
• Respond to finance queries and provide general support across the wider team.
