Metal Work Estimator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Rainscreen, Cladding, and Metalwork Estimator to join our team in Peterlee. This is an exciting opportunity for an estimator with proven industry expertise to work on a variety of challenging and rewarding projects.

Role Responsibilities :

Preparation of detailed and accurate cost estimates for rainscreen, cladding, and metalwork projects.

Collaborate with design, project management, and procurement teams to ensure accurate pricing.

Analyse project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to determine material, labour, and production costs.

Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.

Maintain and develop relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service

throughout the estimation process.

Participate in post-tender negotiations and handovers with the project delivery team.

Requirements :

Proven experience as an estimator within the rainscreen, cladding, and metalwork sectors.

Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry standards.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Job Details :

The role is based in Peterlee and is offering £30,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
