Lead Engineer (Mechanical Bias) – Food Manufacturing

Are you a time‑served engineer with a passion for leadership and continuous improvement? Join a leading manufacturer of authentic global foods, supplying hospitality, retail, food service, and wholesale sectors.
We’re looking for a Lead Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to take charge of two shift engineers, drive CapEx projects, and deliver hands‑on support for PPM and OEE at our AA BRC‑rated site.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage a team of engineers to maximise plant availability and performance.
- Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across the factory.
- Implement cost‑saving initiatives and improve OEE and waste reduction.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Manage contractors and permit‑to‑work processes.
