Head of Production

Location : Suffolk, UK

Salary : £85,000 per annum + Quarterly Commission + Benefits

Contract : Permanent, Full Time

Flexibility : Hybrid working arrangement available

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the full procurement, production cycle, and supply chain of products.

Set and track annual production plans for the UK and international markets.

Optimise production costs, waste, and yield in collaboration with R&D.

Build and maintain strong partnerships with contract manufacturers (CMOs).

Ensure product quality through robust supplier specification agreements.

Expand supply chains across the UK, EU, and globally.

Collaborate with leadership, R&D, and sales to support new product launches.

Safeguard intellectual property during all manufacturing activities.

What are we after?

Extensive experience within a similar industry - Plastics, Packaging, Manufacturing

Proven success in managing contract manufacturing partnerships.

Background in quality systems (ISO9001, BRCGS, or similar).

Process improvement credentials (Lean Six Sigma or similar) desirable.

Excellent communication, organisational, and negotiation skills.
