GSL Education are seeking dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Workers to join schools across Worthing .

Role Overview :

As an Autism Support Worker , you will work closely with teachers and pupils to provide tailored support for children with autism. You will assist with classroom activities, support individuals and small groups, and help create a structured, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment that meets the needs of all students.

Main Responsibilities of an Autism Support Worker :

• Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons adapted for pupils with autism.
• Provide 1 : 1 and small group support to pupils, helping them achieve their full potential.
• Support social, emotional, and academic development across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and a love for learning.
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
