Psychological Therapist - adolescent male trauma

Shire Healthcare are looking to recruit a Psychological Therapist to join and support a therapeutic community in Welshpool,Powys.

Role snapshot :

The candidate appointed will provide a specialist service , supporting assessment and 1-2-1 intervention work for young males presenting with sexual harmful behaviours / other mental health within a residential setting.

Facilitate group supervision and group dynamics. You will also complete risk assessments , work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team and evaluate service procedures / audit.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – part-time, 3 days per week

Salary - £35,000 - £37,500 FTE

Experience required :

Applicants applying will be working towards, or hold full accreditation with the BACP / UKCP / NCPS / BABCP (or a similar professional body) and must have experience working with children and young people who have complex needs.
