Mechanic / Fitter

CNC Recruitment are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join a growing, family-run business operating across three sites in Cullompton, Axminster, and Blandford.

This is a varied role involving both workshop-based repairs and on-site customer call-outs across the South West. Flexibility is essential, as the company is moving towards a 24-hour operation and may require evening call-outs where necessary.

Technicians will work as part of a team within the workshop and independently when attending customer sites (following initial supported training period). Travel between sites and customer locations will be required using a company van.

Location : Cullompton, Axminster & Blandford (travel across the South West required)

Hours : 42.5 hours per week (30-minute unpaid break)

Shifts : Flexible – Weekday, Weekend & Night shifts available

Pay Rate : From £14 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out repairs and maintenance on vans
• Diagnosing faults and completing mechanical repairs
• Attending customer sites to complete on-site repairs
• Working collaboratively within the workshop team
