Position : Exterior Maintenance Supervisor
Location : Chester, Selby & Livingston
Contract : Full Time, Permanent
Hours : 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Are you looking for your next promotional opportunity? We are seeking an Exterior Maintenance Supervisor to join our team and manage the Chester, Selby & Livingston exterior branches. The Role
This field-based team leadership role focuses on supporting the local Technicians in their day-to-day role and assisting the line manager in delivering service excellence to our customers. You will be responsible for delivering specific KPIs set by the business, with the Area Operations Manager remaining accountable. Key responsibilities include :
- Acting as the direct supervisor and line manager for maintenance technicians in the branches
- Providing frontline support in customer engagement to help drive the business forward
- Assisting the Area Operations Manager in optimising the productivity of the Technician team
- Ensuring that quality control measures are followed and regularly checked, and carrying out quality audits on customer sites
- Supporting the TPA (Technical Performance Assessment) process and assisting the Area Operations Manager in creating development plans for Technicians
- Overseeing the procurement process and ensuring Technicians have the necessary preparations and equipment
- Offering daily technical support and assisting with training Technicians on the frontline
- Spending at least four days a week in the field
- Leading the team in developing and implementing 'Best Practices' for service delivery
- Supporting branch administrators to plan and organise routes for the branch technicians
- Handling customer complaints and queries where necessary with support of branch operations managers and local business development managers / national account managers
- Support with surveys when required to establish accurate requirements
- On occasions you may need to cover maintenance contractual work when required
Requirements
Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty pointsDemonstrated leadership skills in a working environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with adaptability to changesMust have worked in a Technician role for a minimum of 1 yearSelf-motivated and an excellent problem solverDemonstrate excellent customer service and communication skillsResilient with a positive attitudeAbility to work unsupervised and well under pressureExperience in managing within a service delivery environment would be advantageous (training available)Flexibility with working patterns to support business needsPride in the job you doBenefits
