The Role
We are looking for a driven and knowledgeable Technical Salesperson to join our growing team. In this role, you will combine technical expertise with strong sales skills, working closely with clients and our wider team to provide comprehensive quotations, close deals, and guide clients through the journey of delivering their facility. You will play a key role in providing tailored solutions that meet customer needs, while driving business growth for Clip ’n Climb. From the very first contact through to after-sales support, you will be responsible for building lasting client relationships, ensuring a smooth customer experience, and maintaining the high standards our brand is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with new and existing clients, acting as their main point of contact throughout the sales journey.
- Understand client requirements and translate them into tailored technical and commercial proposals.
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive quotations in collaboration with the design, engineering, and project teams.
- Lead negotiations, secure contracts, and achieve sales targets in line with business objectives.
- Guide clients through the full process of delivering a facility, from concept to completion.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth handover and successful project delivery.
- Provide after-sales support to maintain customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and product knowledge to effectively position Clip ’n Climb solutions.
- Represent the company at trade shows, client visits, and other business development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports using the company’s CRM system.
Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in technical sales, business development, or a similar client-facing role (B2B experience desirable).Strong technical understanding, ideally within construction-related industries.Confident negotiator with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong relationship-building skills with a customer-focused approach.Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other sales tools.Ability to travel within the UK and internationally, as required.What We Offer
