Nursery Practitioner

Level 2 (or higher) Qualified Nursery Practitioner Needed – Southend-on-Sea, Essex

Strategy Education are recruiting for a Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or higher) to work in nurseries connected to primary schools, independant nurseries or montessoris in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. The nursery’s prime focus areas are on Personal, Social, and Emotional Development (PSED), physical development, communication and language.

We’re looking for Level 2+ Qualified Nursery Practitioners to work alongside a supportive and caring team. As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll play a vital role in creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS, observing and assessing children’s development, and working closely with your fellow team members to provide the very best care.

What we are looking for :

• Level 2 or higher in Early Years / Childcare (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)
• A genuine love for working with children and helping them flourish
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS and child development
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A caring, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude

This is a temporary role with the possibility of this becoming a long term / permanent role for the right candidate. Pay rates £12.21 to £17.01 per hour.
