Job description

Overview

We have an opportunity available for a Full Time Social Inclusion Worker to join our Lancashire Supported Living Rehabilitation Service, Inspiring Minds, based in Burnley, BB11 1UG.

Salary : £12.60 per hour

Hours : 35 hours weekly

Please note that this vacancy is for evening work. The working hours are 14 : 00-21 : 00.

Responsibilities

As a Social Inclusion Worker, your role involves planning and organising a variety of activities to support the well-being of adults in our care. You will encourage and support residents to participate in individual and group events and regularly review and adapt activities to meet their changing needs.

Additionally, you will coordinate logistics, manage resources, and ensure activities run smoothly and safely. The role may include lone working and 1-1 support in the community.

Qualifications

Candidates must have an NVQ Level II (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards this.

On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role. We are seeking individuals who can showcase that their personal values align ours here at Making Space.
