Now spinning out a smart compliance division, the team is developing self-monitoring safety products that drastically reduce manual inspections and improve accountability across the sector.
THE ROLE
You will join a specialist R&D and engineering team to design the electronic systems that power IOT-connected smart compliance products.
Key Responsibilities :
Design and document PCBs and circuit layouts
Source components and optimise for manufacturability
Validate and test against compliance (EMC, LVD, safety)
Liaise with firmware, product, and mechanical teams
Collaborate with production partners and testing bodies
WHO THEY’RE LOOKING FOR
Must Have :
Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering (or similar)
2+ years of design experience
PCB design tools : Altium or KiCad
Power management & comms (IoT, LoRa, BLE, Wi-Fi)
Confidence working to safety and compliance standards
Nice to Have :
Soldering, breadboarding, testing
Firmware / hardware integration skills
Salary up to £65k depending on experience + benefits
