Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

White Label is exclusively representing an engineering and manufacturing business in Hyde that require a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.

As the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will take ownership of projects from concept through to delivery. This is a hands-on role where youll work closely with production, projects, and senior management to ensure designs are efficient, safe, and cost-effective.

My client is offering a salary of £50,000 - £55,000, 25 days holiday + stats and workplace pension. The working hours are Monday Friday 08 : 00 16 : 30 with flexibility around start and finish times.

Responsibilities of the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

• Lead the design and development of bespoke equipment, fixtures, and tooling.
• Produce 3D CAD models, detailed drawings, and manufacturing specifications.
• Carry out design calculations, stress analysis, and materials selection where required.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are practical and effective.
• Drive continuous improvement through engineering innovation.
