Removals Duties

• You will be responsible for driving the vehicle and crew to the designated address, and supporting the Crew with removals duties, including packing, loading and unloading the vehicle.
• You will need to be physically fit in order to pack, carry, load / unload the vehicle and dismantle / reassemble furniture.
• You must be willing to work unsocial hours at times, including some nights away. You need to hold a valid passport as some of our moves include a collection / delivery in mainland Europe.
• You are required to behave in a polite and professional manner at all times in this customer-facing role and should have strong communication skills to talk with your customers and colleagues.
• It is essential that you are reliable, flexible and punctual as move day schedules are vital and can be stressful for the customer.
• Ensure all removals paperwork is completed correctly and submitted in a timely manner.
• Maintain regular communication with the Office.
• Wear company uniform at all times and PPE when collecting or delivering to customers and other sites
• You will need your own transport as you will be departing from / returning to the local depot.
