Quality Engineer

Due to internal promotion, Independent Forgings and Alloys (IFA), one of the UKs leading independent aerospace and industrial forgers, are currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team.

Joining our team, you will

• Manage and improve the Non-Conformance register and maintain low NCR dwell time.
• Instigate and participate in root cause analysis, using tools such as; 3Cs, 5WHYs and 8Ds.
• Youll assist in maintaining Nadcap and our customer accreditations.
• Perform internal audits as well as quality spot checks of in-progress work.
• Data handling and analysis for use both internally and externally.

What are we looking for?

Joining us as an experienced Quality Engineer, you will have a strong understanding of quality and inspections procedures. Educated to degree level in a science & engineering discipline or similar, you will be a team player with great organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
