GEDU Global Education is hiring a full‑time, permanent Professor in Accounting & Finance. The role is based in London, East London, and the salary is £55,000 per annum. No sponsorship is offered.

Role Summary

We seek an experienced Lecturer to teach across undergraduate levels as part of the BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Delivery requires flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess student work, ensuring learning outcomes are met.
• Develop, update, and improve course materials.
• Use a variety of learning and teaching methods and materials.
• Actively engage in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings, and other administrative duties.
• Keep up to date with latest developments in your field and student support practices.
• Work towards objectives for student attendance, completion, satisfaction, and progression.

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable).
• Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area.
• Extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter.
• Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback.
• Experience of accurate reporting and ability to maintain thorough and organised student records.
• Ability to work under pressure, plan and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team‑working skills.
• Ability to work with diverse groups of people.

Desirable

• Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification (or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme).
• Experience of design/development of academic or professional education programmes.
