We are representing a leading technology company in a search for a Technical Consultant

Are you a highly skilled and proactive Technical Consultant with a passion for problem-solving? We are seeking an experienced technical professional to join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining and evolving our infrastructure. In this position, you will provide 3rd line technical support and tackle complex technical challenges. You must have proven experience in the installation, migration, and configuration of systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot complex server, application, and compatibility issues effectively. We are looking for someone who can articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, meticulous with documentation, and skilled in managing multiple priorities and complex incidents until resolution.

As a Technical Consultant at our company, you will act as a key point of contact for our customers, ensuring the successful deployment, configuration, and ongoing support of our applications on both on-premise servers and private cloud servers to guarantee smooth integration and optimal performance.

What you'll do :

Provide 3rd line technical support to on-premise and hosted customers, prioritising incidents

Take complete ownership of complex customer incidents and problems, managing them to resolution while keeping customers and stakeholders informed

Perform installations, migrations, and configurations of our developed software on customer on-premises servers and private cloud environments, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

Offer valuable guidance and recommendations to customers on infrastructure and hardware requirements for optimal software performance

Create and maintain comprehensive internal documentation for all installation and migration processes

Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues related to server configurations, application installation, or software compatibility

Stay updated with product developments, industry trends, emerging technologies, and provide informed recommendations to customers

Provide expert advice and guidance on best practices for software installation, configuration, and maintenance

Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, offering dedicated technical support and assistance throughout installation and migration projects

Skills & Experience :

Proven experience in providing 3rd line technical support

Strong expertise in installation, migration, and configuration of systems

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
