Job Title : Site Manager

Location :  Brighton, covering various sites

Salary :  £55,000 per annum

Start Date :  ASAP

Company Overview :  My client is a leading social housing contractor specialising in planned maintenance works for Brighton City Council. Our projects focus on essential improvements which includes cladding and fire safety measures to ensure the highest standards of living for residents.

Job Description :  We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Site Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee planned maintenance projects, including cladding and fire safety works, across various sites in Brighton.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
  • Coordinate and supervise on-site personnel and subcontractors
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Liaise with Brighton City Council representatives, residents, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks
  • Address any issues or problems that arise on-site promptly and effectively
  • Prepare and maintain accurate site documentation and reports

Requirements :

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally within the social housing sector
  • Strong knowledge of cladding and fire safety regulations and practices
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field
  • Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
  • Full driving license
