Location : Newbury, Berkshire

Salary : Up to £60,000 per annum (DOE)

Schedule : Full-time (weekday led) with occasional weekend flexibility

About the Role A high-profile family seeks an exceptional Senior Housekeeper to lead day-to-day housekeeping and presentation across a 12-bedroom private estate. The household (two adults, two children, one well-trained spaniel) is refined, welcoming, and fully staffed. Youll deliver flawless standards, coordinate with the estate team, and ensure the home is always guest-ready.

Key Responsibilities Oversee daily housekeeping operations to a five-star standard

High-level cleaning, laundry and wardrobe management (fine fabrics, seasonal rotation)

Silver care, antiques and fine furnishings care; flower arranging and home presentation

Stock and inventory management; liaising with contractors and suppliers

Formal service for guests / events; assist with family meals and occasional entertaining

Light pet care for the household spaniel as required

Candidate Requirements 5+ years experience in HNW / private households or luxury environments

Discreet, proactive, superbly organised; calm under pressure

Expert in specialist techniques for antiques, silver and fine interiors

Comfortable coordinating with a wider household / estate team

Right to work in the UK (driving licence preferred but not essential)
