Head of Risk and Regulatory compliance

Overview

The Head of Risk and Regulatory Compliance will support the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) in developing, implementing, and maintaining the Group’s risk and compliance frameworks. The role ensures Vitesse Group operates with strong governance, effective risk management, and regulatory compliance across the UK and internationally. The position acts as a key advisor to senior stakeholders and a trusted partner to regulators, with a focus on embedding a culture of risk awareness and regulatory excellence.

Core responsibilities

Risk Management & Governance

• Support the CRO in the design, implementation, and oversight of an effective Group Risk Management Framework.
• Develop and embed the Three Lines of Defence (3LoD) model aligned to the Group’s strategic objectives.
• Ensure effective governance, reporting, and escalation processes across Group and entity-level risk activities.
• Manage and optimise the Group’s Risk Management Software (Protecht) to ensure robust risk identification, monitoring, and reporting.
• Act as Secretary to the Group Audit & Risk Committee, managing agendas, materials, minutes, and ensuring the committee’s effectiveness.
