Job description

Job Title : Dusk Cart HGV Class 2 Driver

Location : Harlow

Pay Rate : £19.00 per hour (minimum 9 hours paid)

Overtime : £24.00 per hour (Saturdays)

Contract : Ongoing with opportunity to go permanent

Shifts Available

Early Shift : 4 : 00am – 1 : 00pm
Late Shift : 12 : 00pm – 9 : 00pm

Job Overview We are looking for reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team in Harlow, working on dusk cart operations. This is a great opportunity for drivers seeking stable long-term work with the potential to secure a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle for refuse / dusk cart collections

Work as part of a small team to complete daily routes

Follow all health and safety procedures

Complete vehicle checks and report any defects

Deliver excellent service to the local community

Requirements

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card

Previous experience in refuse / dusk cart work is beneficial but not essential

Reliability and good communication skills

Ability to work the required shift pattern

Be comfortable with heavy lifting

Benefits

£19.00 per hour (minimum 9 hours paid per shift)

Saturday overtime paid at £24.00 per hour
