Overview
Control Systems Integration Engineer at TieTalent , Peterborough, England, United Kingdom. This role designs, develops, and maintains systems that automate industrial processes, ensuring optimal performance and safety. The position involves the full life cycle delivery of projects in technical compliance and quality, including attending meetings with clients to discuss design, surveys, software programming, configuration, testing and commissioning for projects. You will bring an innovative approach to problem solving and work with highly skilled engineers to develop and succeed in your career. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, HMI, variable speed drives and instrumentation products and experience in producing project documentation. This is a full-time position with hours 08 : 30-17 : 15 Monday to Thursday and 08 : 30-16 : 00 on Fridays; role includes UK site commissioning (may involve short periods away from home).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain control systems that automate industrial processes, ensuring performance and safety.
- Deliver projects through their full life cycle with focus on technical compliance and quality.
- Attend meetings with clients to discuss design, surveys, software programming, configuration, testing and commissioning.
- Collaborate with a team of engineers to solve problems and develop skills.
- UK site commissioning, potentially involving short periods away from home.
Qualifications
Previous control system experience (2+ years)Software Engineering Degree and / or Electrical qualificationsExperience with Allen Bradley, Siemens Mitsubishi PLCs or SCADA systems (Wonderware, Iconics, Schneider or other platforms)Good verbal and written communication skillsClean UK Driving LicenceMust be eligible to work in the UKFor Lead positions, ability to motivate and manage a team of engineers (5+ years experience)What you will get in return
