Senior Marine Environmental Consultant

Due to continued success, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Marine Environmental Consultant to strengthen our Metoc team. You will be involved in undertaking and managing a range of environmental studies, including EIA, SEA and HRA.

ABOUTYOU

WerelookingforaMarineEnvironmentalConsultanttoleadandcontributetoabroadspectrumofenvironmentalstudies,includingEIA,SEAandHRA.Workingacrosssubseacables,offshorerenewablesandoilandgas,youllhelpshapesustainablesolutionsthatdriveresponsibledevelopmentandacceleratethemovetoalow-carbonfuture.

Requiredskillsandexperience :

Degree / Mastersinarelevantdiscipline(environmentalsciencesorsimilar)

Skilledinornithology,underwatersound,marineecology,marinemammalsorfishandshellfishassessments

Demonstrableprojectmanagementandclientaccountexperience

Trackrecordofliaisonwithregulatorsandotherstakeholders

Knowledgeandexperienceofdeliveringconsentingandenvironmentalassessmentsolutionsinthemarineenergy / industrysectors

Strongtechnical,analytical,organisationalandcommunicationskills

This role requires well-developed technical expertise and experience in permitting and consenting processes, as well as excellent project management skills. There is the potential to develop the role to include and support new products and services in the marine sector to meet the increasing global demand for sustainable energy solutions.

Liaisewithothersinside / outsidethedepartmentproactivelyandreactivelytoprovideorobtaininformationtokeeppeopleinformedsothatworkiscompletedeffectively
