✨ About the Role
- 10 hours per week, flexible schedule
- Focus on building confidence, emotional wellbeing, and self-belief
- Academic support in GCSE Maths and English, introduced gradually at the young person's pace
- Sessions will begin at home, with the goal of transitioning into local community settings such as libraries or quiet cafés to promote confidence and social interaction
- A mentoring style is essential – this is not a high‑pressure academic role
📌 Requirements
- Minimum 6 months' experience in a UK-based education setting
- SEN experience desirable, but not essential
- Calm, patient, trauma-informed approach
- Ability to build positive, trusting relationships
- Comfortable supporting a young person both academically and emotionally
- Ideally a driver who is willing to transport the student to local public settings when appropriate
