Overview
We are seeking an experienced MEP Planner to join a growing Building Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and maintaining detailed project programmes across complex Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring project schedules are realistic, contractually compliant, and aligned with client expectations from pre-construction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Planning Manager.
- Develop and fully integrate end-to-end project programmes from Pre-Construction through Construction, Testing & Commissioning, to Completion.
- Monitor and accurately record project progress.
- Analyse the critical path and advise project teams on critical and near-critical activities.
- Ensure baseline programmes and revisions comply with contract terms and requirements.
- Provide planning support across Pre-Construction and Construction teams.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams both on and off site.
- Liaise with and present programme updates to client teams.
- Produce concise progress and programme reports in line with company reporting procedures.
Requirements
- Ideally qualified in Planning or Management, or hold an HNC / HND or Degree in Building Services (or equivalent).
- Balanced career background within Building Services.
- Strong working knowledge of MEP project delivery.
- Proficient in Asta Powerproject.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
