My client is looking for an experienced Tech Lead to own the "brain" and architecture of their core product—a major AI companion platform with millions of users globally. This is a critical, hands-on role for a builder who can ship production code, architect at scale, and has deep intuition for LLM alignment in unique content environments.

💼 What You'll Do

• Player/Coach Leadership – Architect systems and mentor the team while staying hands-on in the codebase (Python/PyTorch)
• Lead & Mentor – Guide a team of 3 AI engineers, balancing technical work with people management
• Own the Model Lifecycle – From data engine to production deployment, ensuring safety without sacrificing user freedom
• Drive Innovation – Contribute to a fast-growing, already profitable company leading the AI space

✅ What They're Looking For

Required:

• 6+ years of experience in AI/LLM engineering
• Proven track record shipping LLM features to production at high scale
• Experience leading teams while remaining hands-on
• Master's degree or higher in a relevant field
• Deep expertise in fine-tuning LLM models (SFT, RLHF, DPO)
• Understanding of content moderation architecture and NSFW classifiers
• Strong proficiency in Python and PyTorch
• Comfortable thriving in fast-paced, remote environments
