Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Secondary Support

Enfield | Full-time | Long-term supply | November 2025 start

An Enfield secondary school is seeking a proactive HLTA to support classroom teaching, lead interventions, and cover lessons where required.

Responsibilities :

Lead small-group and intervention sessions

Support teachers with planning and preparation

Cover lessons during staff absences

Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback

Requirements :

HLTA qualification or equivalent experience

Excellent literacy, numeracy, and communication skills

Confident managing a class independently
