Junior Doctor Required for 6 months Research, Trials – South West

CPL UK are offering a superb opportunity for a junior doctor to take part in research and clinical trials based in Plymouth area.

Junior Doctor– Clinical Trials Fellow – Research and Development NEW!

(F2, StR Lower, StR Higher will be considered – must hold MRCP)

Hours: Full Time 35-40 hours

Start: As soon as possible

End: 4-6 months

Clinical Trials Fellow – suitable for candidates with at least 2 years post foundation training (or equivalent) – must be post MRCP.

The successful candidates will be involved in all aspects of clinical research, including recruiting, monitoring, data collection, safety assessments, trial set up and support of monitoring visits, whilst ensuring all regulatory requirements are met. In particular, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the medical aspects of protocols, and specifically with ensuring that drugs are prescribed and administered in accordance with the principles of Good Clinical Practice. The post-holder will develop good relationships with our business partners in industry and specialists in other networks to ensure trials are run according to their protocols. The bulk of the work will be conducted in a clinic setting during office hours. Attendance at trials meetings or initiation visits will occur as required. The post- holder will work with the clinical research leads and Research & Development delivery and administrative staff to ensure that a wide range of trials are available to patients.
