Sheet Metal Worker

Our client, a leading manufacturing company specializing in quality metalwork solutions and pride themselves on delivering high-quality products, is looking to recruit an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join their team.

The successful candidate will join as a Sheet Metal Worker, playing a crucial role in the manufacturing process and offering the opportunity to develop skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Operating various sheet metal machinery and tools, including drills, lathes, band saws, and chop saws
• Fabricating and assembling sheet metal components and structures
• Conducting quality checks to ensure precision and adherence to specifications
• Collaborating with the team to meet production targets and deadlines
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Good timekeeping
• Willingness to work overtime as required

Requirements :

• Previous experience as a sheet metal worker in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and processes
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Competence in operating sheet metal machinery such as drills, lathes, band saws, and chop saws

Hours of Work : Monday to Thursday 07 : 40 to 16 : 30 / Friday 07 : 40 to 12 : 45

In return, the company offers a very competitive salary of £26,000 + overtime along with secure and interesting employment.
