HGV Class 2 Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Plymouth area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Shifts : 40 hours a week across Monday to Sunday

Hours : 01 : 00am - 05 : 00am starts through week, Sunday is 11am - 12pm starts

Pay Rate : £14.60- £15.61 per hour PAYE

Location : Plymouth, PL6

Job Type : Ongoing or permanent from day one.

The role :

• Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to and from sub depots and delivery units.
• Handling runs with 1-5 delivery stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Utilise tail lift and pump truck equipment for loading and unloading.
• Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
• Empty the vehicle and refuel at the end of each shift.
• Complete a theory and practical assessment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards and then complete a few days paid training if assessment is successful.
