About the Role

This is more than a standard Business Development role – it’s a strategic hire where you’ll work closely with the leadership team to drive origination, strengthen broker relationships, and play a key role in shaping the business’s success. As the first senior hire in sales, you’ll have autonomy to develop your own strategy, leverage your broker network, and help position the lender as a go‑to name in the bridging finance space. Over time, there is a clear pathway to progression into leadership, with the chance to build and manage your own team.

Key Responsibilities

• Originate bridging and short‑term property finance business via your broker and introducer network.
• Build, manage, and grow broker relationships, positioning the lender as a trusted partner.
• Drive completions, managing deals from enquiry through to funding in collaboration with internal teams.
• Represent the brand in the market, attending broker meetings, events, and industry functions.
• Develop and implement a personal business development strategy to achieve and exceed targets.
• Provide market feedback to shape product development and strategy.
• Take the first steps towards building a high‑performing sales function, with leadership progression in mind.
